Kinesa is an all-in-one fitness and wellness app that combines workout tracking, nutrition logging, sleep and mood monitoring, habit building, and AI-powered coaching into a single, clean experience. It's designed for real people who want to stay consistent without juggling multiple apps.
Which platforms is Kinesa available on?
Kinesa is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Both platforms offer the same features and experience.
Is Kinesa free to use?
Yes. Kinesa's core experience is completely free — including workout logging, nutrition tracking, sleep and mood check-ins, habit tracking, and weekly progress summaries. Kinesa Pro unlocks additional features for users who want to go deeper.
Who built Kinesa?
Kinesa is built by GrandPoint Ltd, a UK-based company founded by Eddie Agyeman. It's developed with a science-backed, compassionate approach to fitness — no guilt, no overwhelm, just progress.

What is Kinesa Pro?
Kinesa Pro is the premium tier that unlocks advanced features: the AI Coach for personalised guidance and workout suggestions, Advanced Insights that reveal cross-domain patterns (e.g. how sleep affects your training), and Data Export so you can download your data as CSV files.
How much does Kinesa Pro cost?
Kinesa Pro is available as a monthly subscription at £4.99/month or an annual subscription at £39.99/year (saving over 30%). Prices shown include UK VAT where applicable. Pricing may vary by region.
What's included in the free tier vs Kinesa Pro?
Free: Unlimited workout logging, nutrition tracking, sleep and mood check-ins, habit tracking, weekly summaries, Apple Health and Google Fit integration, and progress charts.
Kinesa Pro: Everything in free, plus AI Coach (personalised coaching conversations), Advanced Insights (cross-domain pattern analysis), and Data Export (CSV download of your data).
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone/iPad: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Kinesa Pro → Cancel Subscription.
On Android: Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Kinesa Pro → Cancel subscription.
You'll keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at renewal — you won't be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Will my data be lost if I cancel Pro?
No. All your data is kept safe. If you cancel Kinesa Pro, you simply lose access to Pro-only features (AI Coach, Advanced Insights, Data Export). Your workouts, nutrition logs, habits, and all other data remain intact. If you re-subscribe later, everything is still there.
AI Coach
What is the AI Coach?
The AI Coach is a Kinesa Pro feature that provides personalised fitness and wellness guidance through natural conversation. It can suggest workouts, help interpret your progress, offer recovery advice, and adapt its coaching style to your preferences — whether you prefer friendly encouragement, direct feedback, or a clinical approach.
Can I customise the AI Coach?
Yes. You can give your coach a custom name and choose personality traits (such as humorous, calm, encouraging, or blunt) to shape how it communicates with you. You can also select a coaching tone during onboarding: Friendly, Strict, or Clinical.
Is the AI Coach a replacement for medical advice?
No. Kinesa's AI Coach provides general fitness and wellness guidance only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
Health Data & Privacy
Does Kinesa connect to Apple Health or Google Fit?
Yes. Kinesa integrates with Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android) to read steps, sleep, heart rate, and other health metrics. Completed workouts are also written back to your health platform. All connections require your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time.
How is my data protected?
Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure) with encryption in transit and at rest. We follow GDPR principles: you can export your data, request deletion, and we never sell your personal information. Health data is never used for advertising. See our

Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can delete your account from Settings within the app, or visit our
Account Deletion page. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
Will Kinesa support Garmin, Fitbit, or Oura?
Additional wearable integrations (including Garmin, Fitbit, and Oura) are planned for a future update. For now, Kinesa works with Apple Health and Health Connect, which already aggregate data from most popular wearables.

What features are planned for the future?
We're actively working on several exciting additions: an AI Recovery Advisor (using HRV and sleep data for readiness scoring), direct wearable integrations (Garmin, Fitbit, Oura), a coaching marketplace where you can get micro-coaching from certified professionals, community features including group challenges, and a corporate wellness offering for teams.
